STG Kids Fun Run

The STG Kids Fun Run Award celebrates its inaugural year of “kids helping kids” with this first-ever community event. Created by Staples High School Junior Alexis Krenzer to support the mission of STG, the Kids Fun Run raised $5,000. This event not only showcased the spirit of our community but also had a significant impact on attendees. Alexis enlisted the help of Sara Holland Sports to organize the races, local sponsors, and countless Staples High School student volunteers and organizations, including Staples Cheer, to encourage and cheer on the pre-school through 5th grade participants. Due to its success and the support it garnered from the Westport community, the STG Fun Run will continue next year with hopes of evolving into a beloved community event.
